STEP 02
Taking the Theoretical & Practical Training and Completion Examination

Receive a UAV Training Completion Certificate
Details
Upon passing the completion examination, DPCA will issue a “UAV Training Completion Certificate,” which is required to apply for an exemption from the practical examination.
Remarks
Completing training at a registered training institution exempts candidates from the practical examination at a designated testing institution.
STEP 03
Academic Examination, Medical Examination, and Issuance of Exam Pass Certificate

Apply for “New Proficiency Certificate Issuance” on DIPS. For restriction modifications, select “Modification of Proficiency Certificate.” The certificate will be mailed to the registered address on DIPS.
※1 A designated testing institution is a government-designated organization responsible for conducting proficiency certificate examinations.
※2 DIPS 2.0 is the “Drone Information Platform System” managed by the Japan Civil Aviation Bureau.
※ User registration, academic examinations, and medical examinations can be completed before attending training at this center.
